Hans – 14 Days – Brisbane Newborn Photography

This is little Hans, a beautiful newborn boy with a very South African name, and his wonderful South African family surrounding him with love. One set of his grandparents came from a land far away just to meet this handsome prince :)

I met Hans’s mom a few years ago, only to be reintroduced to her through one of my lovely clients after doing her newborn session! It was with much excitement that I prepared for this session knowing that we have something as significant as South Africa in common, as well as the client who has since become a good friend.

Little Hans didn’t really like the idea of sleeping at the time the session started, but with lots of love and patience we were able to get him to sleep :) Sleepy newborns are just something else! I love being able to work with a newborn while they’re preferably between 5 and 10 days old, when they’re their most sleepy and enjoy being as snug as they were when still in their mother’s womb. Little Hans was a little older, but once he slept I was able to get some beautiful photos of his long little fingers, his beautiful lips, and everything else, all so perfect!
