Nina Newborn – 6 Days New <3

Becoming more specialised in newborn photography started in a large part because of this little girl.

I visit South Africa every year, to see family and friends. While there early this year, I attended my first Newborn Photography Workshop.

Less than a week later, when I met and photographed little Nina at only 6 days old, I felt such a strong nudge towards photographing newborns that I have since then focused almost solely on doing newborn sessions. Nina was the perfect little model. With all her sweet features this little princess had me head over heels <3

I had an amazing time and will always look back at her photos with fond memories. Babies are the biggest blessings we can be given, and reminds us of how fleeting life is, that we must appreciate each and every person in our lives every day – they too were once this little! :) It’s almost too hard to imagine that I was once a fragile little newborn in my mother’s arms.

Photographing little Nina and her family was a true privilege. You were such lovely clients, and I can’t wait to see you all next year when she turns one!
