Ruby and Lily – twin newborn session | Brisbane Newborn Photographer

I was stoked when Clare enquired and booked these little girls’ twin newborn session – twins!

Little Ruby and Lily came early, and had to fight through some things like learning to feed. But having a sister to struggle through things with makes your bond that much stronger, and I know growing up they will take on the world together, look out for each other, and grow stronger in their friendship because of it! It is such an amazing privilege working not only with one newborn, but twin newborn babies! I am so grateful that I get to capture beautiful moments for them to treasure as they grow up.

It was a pleasure, and thank you Clare for choosing me to photograph this special time! I hope that these photos will act as a great reminder of just how little they were :)

Newborn photography is so much more than just photos. Newborn photos, when taken professionally, capture the essence of a new baby. Their tiny details, how curly they are, how sweet they sleep, what they might have been like in the womb… Photographing these young babies, often in their first week or ten days of birth, is something truly special to me that I wholeheartedly love and celebrate in my heart.

If you’re reading this and are expecting your own, or someone close to you is, I would LOVE to be considered for your maternity and newborn photography. Bookings can be made as early as your 20th week of pregnancy, as we only make the final date once your baby is born. Making a tentative date beforehand ensures you can have peace of mind that the session is scheduled, you won’t forget or get lost in all that’s happening close to the birth, and you can ensure that I am available for your date.
