Freya – redhead beauty | Brisbane Newborn Photographer
Redheads don’t visit my studio very often, and this was my first girl redhead! Freya, with her soft, beautiful red hair made for a session I won’t forget! Her dad brought his guitar and serenaded her, and with that and their love for books I had the chance to get creative outside of my norm by incorporating the guitar in one setup, one of their favourite books in another. Freya’s dad chose the beautiful dark moss green for another setup which at first we weren’t 100% sure about, but once she was wrapped I was amazed at how beautifully it showed off her soft red hair.
As with the title of the book in one of her photos, “Great Expectations”, I expect that little Freya will grow into a very special little girl, and someone who will make her parents very proud.
Thank you, Courtney and Loki, for bringing your beautiful girl to me. She is absolutely beautiful and I hope to see her again as she grows up! :)

Newborn photography is so much more than just photos. Newborn photos, when taken professionally, capture the essence of a new baby. Their tiny details, how curly they are, how sweet they sleep, what they might have been like in the womb… Photographing these young babies, often in their first week or ten days of birth, is something truly special to me that I wholeheartedly love and celebrate in my heart.

Bookings can be made as early as your 20th week of pregnancy, as we only make the final date once your baby is born. Making a tentative date beforehand ensures you can have peace of mind that the session is scheduled, you won’t forget or get lost in all that’s happening close to the birth, and you can ensure that I am available for your date.
