Matilda, 10 days new | Brisbane Newborn Photographer
Zaac and Bec are friends of ours (and our furbabies are friends too!) and it has been so amazing seeing them go from an inspirational couple to now also being a family who I know will inspire, give of themselves, and love on others wherever they go.
Matilda was 10 days old the day of her session, and although I prefer not to photograph babies on this day (as babies often have a growth spurt then), it was so good to get some beautiful moments of Matilda with open eyes! She did make me (and Bec for having to feed her more often) work a bit harder and longer for those sweet sleepy moments but Bec was so patient, and we made it happen! :) Matilda was back to her more peaceful self the next day, of course!
Seeing how gentle and loving you guys are with her is so beautiful. Parenthood really suits you, and Matilda is blessed to have you. I am so excited for your journey as parents, Zaac and Bec, and can’t wait to see what’s in store!

Newborn photography is so much more than just photos. Newborn photos, when taken professionally, capture the essence of a new baby. Their tiny details, how curly they are, how sweet they sleep, what they might have been like in the womb… Photographing these young babies, often in their first week or ten days of birth, is something truly special to me that I wholeheartedly love and celebrate in my heart.
If you’re reading this and are expecting your own, or someone close to you is, I would LOVE to be considered for your Brisbane newborn photography. Bookings can be done as early as your 20th week of pregnancy, as we only make the final date once your baby is born. Making a tentative date beforehand ensures you can have peace of mind that the session is scheduled, you won’t forget or get lost in all that’s happening close to the birth, and you can ensure that I am available for your date.
