Leanne & Jaime, Mommy and Me | Brisbane Portrait Photographer

This is Leanne, and her first child of 1 ½ years old, Jaime :) He is one of the cutest boys I’ve ever met!! Those looks he gives melt my heart <3

We did this Mommy and Me session in the park where Leanne always played as a little girl, right across from her aunt’s house. It’s a beautiful park and so green and lush on this day. I just love the bright colours and their well-coordinated outfits!

Leanne is such a wonderful young mom, and Jaime is a delight! He gives these little cheeky looks, has the cutest little smile and laugh, and he really enjoyed playing with his mom. His soft, straight hair with that little wispy fringe of his is just adorable! I truly enjoyed spending time with Leanne and Jaime, and can’t wait to do more sessions like these!

Jaime’s dad isn’t in the pictures, but you should see how much Jaime looks like his dad! One big reason why this mommy and me session was so important, was because Leanne realised that it’s always her taking the photos, but she’s never in them! So on this day in the park we made it a top priority to get some beautiful images of her and her little Jaime. This is a truly beautiful little family and they make such beautiful pictures.

May you treasure these pictures for many years to come, and I hope to take more of you whenever I visit South Africa again!

This session is just another reminder of the importance to exist in photos – moms, don’t let years go by without you in the picture with your kids, they will treasure these moments one day! Not having family pictures together is a disappointing thing to realise when it’s too late.
