Another referred client from one of my awesome clients! I can just imagine all these little girls sitting together chatting about their newborn photos one day and enjoying how different each of theirs are, while having similar qualities :)
Sarah first came to me for her maternity session which was both simple and a beautiful way to document her pregnancy. See her session here.
Lara was only 7 days new, one of my favourite ages to photograph! That first week after birth these new babies are so tiny, each little detail brand new and so delicate. They are often still learning to feed and their sleep routines aren’t settled yet but they sleep much of the day.
Not only are her parents absolutely smitten with her, but Lara gave me adorable smiles and melted my heart when I turned her on her tummy for tummy poses!
She is just gorgeous, Sarah and Liam! Thank you for bringing her to me and sharing her with me for a few hours. I wish you both the best journey as parents, with so much joy and enjoyment from your sweet little girl!

Newborn photography is so much more than just photos. Newborn photos, when taken professionally, capture the essence of a new baby. Their tiny details, how curly they are, how sweet they sleep, what they might have been like in the womb… Photographing these young babies, often in their first week or ten days of birth, is something truly special to me that I wholeheartedly love and celebrate in my heart.
If you’re reading this and are expecting your own, or someone close to you is, I would LOVE to be considered for your Brisbane newborn photography. Bookings can be done as early as your 20th week of pregnancy, as we only make the final date once your baby is born. Making a tentative date beforehand ensures you can have peace of mind that the session is scheduled, you won’t forget or get lost in all that’s happening close to the birth, and you can ensure that I am available for your date.
